Digital signs
A sign rental is a screen with a job: the agenda, the wayfinding, the sponsor loop, or the message in the lobby. The player and the stand are part of the rental, not an extra to remember later.
Where it usually fits
- Agendas
- Wayfinding
- Sponsor loops
- Lobby messages
- Registration
Agenda and wayfinding
Screens that tell people which room and what time. Keep the type large. A sign nobody can read from the aisle is just another display.
- One message per screen when the lobby is busy
- Portrait orientation for agendas, landscape for maps
- Who updates the schedule if a room moves
Lobby and sponsor loops
Repeating playback for sponsors, welcome messages, and booth content. A dedicated player is calmer than a laptop someone needs for email.
- Loop length and whether audio is allowed
- Stand height for people who are walking, not seated
- The same file format on every player
