A multi-city run gets expensive when every stop is a new guess. Advance means the gear list, the plot, and the open questions are written down before the local order is placed.
Each venue still has its own dock, power, rigging rules, and load-in window. Those notes sit next to the show file so a ballroom is not planned like an arena.
