Touring gear needs a warehouse night or a direct ship. The useful split is what stays together, what goes home, and what must be in the next city before load-in.
Storage and the carrier follow the dates you send. Time on the road is part of the plan. A short turn between cities has to be visible on the quote before a truck is booked.
Label cases the way the road crew already talks about them. A pile marked only as AV does not help the next stop.
