Projectors & screens

A projector only earns its place when the screen, the throw, and the light in the room agree. We plan those together for breakouts, training rooms, ballrooms, and temporary meeting space.

Where it usually fits

  • Breakout rooms
  • Training rooms
  • Ballrooms
  • Client presentations
  • Temporary meeting space

Projectors

Standard conference projectors cover classrooms and boardrooms. Short-throw units fit shallow rooms where a presenter would otherwise walk through the beam. Higher-output and laser projectors are the conversation when the room is deep, bright, or running all day.

  • Match output to ambient light and the last row, not to a catalog default
  • Short-throw when the screen has to live close to the presenter
  • Laser when the session is long or the room will not go fully dark

Screens

Tripod screens suit quick rooms. Fast-fold frames carry larger sessions. A dress kit matters when the screen sits on a stage and the frame should not be the picture.

  • Size the screen to the farthest viewer
  • Note ceiling height, columns, and where a frame can stand
  • Add a dress kit or drape when the screen is part of a stage look

What to tell us

  • Room length, width, and ceiling height
  • Whether the lights can be dimmed
  • The laptop or playback device, and which port it uses
  • A confidence monitor at the lectern, if the presenter cannot see the screen
